Definition
A parameter area determination grouping (PaGru) makes it possible to determine the parameter area that is used to access a given value type as a PC parameter.
Explanation
If the value for a PC parameter needs to be determined, the PaGru must be specified along with the value type identified by this parameter and the possible key values. The PC parameter is accessed in two steps:
- Determining the PC parameter area using the PaGru and value type.
- Reading the parameter value using the parameter area, the value type and, if necessary, further key values.
Example
In the "PF Switzerland" processing context, each pension fund can be assigned a processing schedule and a PaGru independently of each other. In this way, several funds can use the same schedule but different parameter areas for certain PC parameters (such as contribution rates).
