Definition

Here, you specify by which RFC destination the report should be started. The scheduler RPMREP00 is started with the this RFC destination as default.

Basically, two types of parallel processing are supported:

  • Parallel execution in different systems

A RFC destination is specified for each of these systems.

  • Parallel execution within a system

One RFC destination is specified for the selected system, with load distribution. You must enter a value greater than 1 for the number of modi in the scheduler selection screen.

    Note the following:

    • If several modi are used, all specified RFC destinations must be defined with a load distribtion. Otherwise, several processes will be started in the respective RFC destination-specified application server.
    • Unfortunately, a RFC destination with load distribution does not guarantee that the report execution runs on differing application servers.
