Definition
The selection period specifies the period up to which the employment tax statement data is to be collected.
Use
Report RPCTXSD0 for collecting the statement data evaluates the selection period as an optional parameter. If the selection period is filled, only statements with an end date that is before or on the selection period end date are collected.
Comment as of year 2012:
In the productive system, only notifications with an end date before or on the current date are collected. The reason for this is that the clearing office rejects employment tax statements with an end date in the future as containing an error. In non-productive systems, you can change this behavior by selecting the option "Collect Future ETStmt".

The value 200812 is entered as the selection period. In this case, only statements with an end date before or on 12/31/2008 are selected by the report.
