Definition
This AKA number uniquely identifies a supplementary pension institution (SPI). It comprises the SPI number assigned by the AKA (Arbeitsgemeinschaft kommunale und kirchliche Altersversorgung e.V.) and used for forwarding purposes among the different SPIs.
In principle, other numbers are also possible. Most important is that the number here matches the number assigned to the SPI.

Example
The forwarding number is less unique than the SPI ID. For example, the VBL (West) has SPI-ID 01 and VBL (East) has SPI-ID 02 in sample Customizing. However, the forwarding number is 010 in both cases since both are the VBL.
