Select this field if the requester belongs to the employee subgroup according to sec. 10a par. 1 no. 3 or no. 4 EStG (insurance-exempt persons acc. to sec. 5 par. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 or 3 SGB VI and persons exempt from insurance liability acc. to sec. § 6 par. 1 sent. 1 no. 2 or sec. 230 par. 2 sent. 2 SGB VI).

In this case, the salary in the BZ01 notification is the amount that would be subject to insurance contributions for statutory pension insurance, if the person was not exempt from insurance liability. The income threshold is not applied here.
