Definition
For some functions, the program has to query the pay scale group. Since the pay scale groups can be freely selected in Customizing, a specific collective agreement can be assigned to these via internal pay scale groups.
Use
The internal pay scale group is assigned via table T5DPBS3B.
It is used in table T5DPBS3D to determine the structure equalization and is entered in the "Rem. Group" column, which specifies the remuneration group when the TVöD/TV-L comes into effect. It refers to the group to which the employee was originally assigned, not as a result of automatic progression.
For nursing staff in TV-L, the remuneration group has a different meaning. It is not the original group for this career, but the group to which the employee was actually assigned at the time of the transition.
