Definition

When the assessment basis is calculated, whole months are normally used in the calculation. There are situations in which daily values have to be rounded up to the calculation period.

Use

You specify here whether only whole months, that is, those without any remuneration-free periods, are to be used as the assessment basis, or whether partial months are also to be included in the calculation.

Example

According to the rules in the TVöD and TV-L collective agreements, the alternative daily basis is also required in addition to the monthly basis. This means that if not one single month is unreduced, the usable days from multiple months are included in the calculation.
