Definition
The hospital number contains four digits and is assigned by the Federal Statistical Office Germany.
When the coding number of the hospital is defined, the first two digits identify the state and the other four represent the hospital number.
In the statistics according to KHStatV, the coding number must be specified in the data record transmitted.
