Definition
The institute indicator of the hospital (in short: IK-KH) is a unique number consisting of nine characters.
For the automatic data exchange between health insurance funds and hospitals in accordance with § 301 SGB V, the communication partners are identified on both sides by their institute indicators (IK-KH).
