Definition
A supplementary pension institute can be financed by either the contribution procedure or the capital coverage procedure. This influences the way in which contributions (if they are levied) have to be reported. In the capital coverage procedure, compulsory contributions (insurance feature 15) are levied. In the contribution procedure, these are called additional contributions (insurance feature 20). For payroll purposes, there is no difference between the two.
