Employer contribution supplement for insolvency insurance
Use
Supplementary pension institutes financed by contributions can impose a contribution supplement on employers under private law to insure against the risk of the employer becoming insolvent.
In this field, enter the share of the ER contribution that comprises the supplement (see example).

Example
Your supplementary pension institute imposes a contribution supplement of 15% on the normal employer contribution rate of 5.5%. Enter 15% in this field. In Payroll, the total employer contribution is then calculated as follows:
The contribution supplement is 15% of 5.5%, that is, 0.825%. The employer has to pay a total of 5.5% + 0.825% = 6.325% in contributions.
