Definition
The method determines how the waiting period from the start date is applied to the entitlement. The method is particularly important if interrupting periods exist during the entitlement period and these periods do not count for th qualification check.
Input values
Method 1: Constant months with 30 days
----------------------------------------
The months are calculated as 30 days and they are counted on a daily basis starting at the initial date.
Method 2: Months plus absence days for periods
---------------------------------------------
The start date is set to the first of the month and, if necessary, the end date is set to the last of the month (absence days). The months are added up starting from the rounded initial date and the result date is moved on by the number of missing days from the rounding step.
Method 3: Months plus absence days minus remaining days in periods
------------------------------------------------------------
The start date is set to the first of the month (absence days) and, if necessary, the end date is set to the last day of the previous month (remaining days). The months are added up starting at the rounded start date and the result date is moved on by the total of the absence days minus the remaining days.
Method 4: Months - remaining days in periods
------------------------------------------
The start date is set to the last day of the month and, if necessary, is set to the last day of the previous month (remaining days). The months are added up starting at the rounded start date and the result date is set back by the remaining days.
