Definition
The alternative method for determining the conversion amount defines whether a different method is used to determine the calculation routine in payroll accounting than the method assigned to the employee in the infotype.
Use
You use the alternative conversion method if you want to define the same calculation formula for two person groups, but you need to perform different checks of the permissible amounts and percentage rates.
