Definition

This field indicates the type of conversion.

Conversions that you want to assign to an entitlement for a pension scheme can be split into several partial conversions, using the conversion type.

Example

You need two different conversion types to model your company's rules for deferred compensation.

1. Fixed conversion share:

You use the first conversion type to indicate a fixed conversion, in which the employee cannot choose the rules for determining the conversion amount.

1. Variable conversion share:

You use the second conversion type to indicate an additional, variable conversion, for which employees can choose the conversion themselves.

Note

Note that the conversion type in the Deferred Compensation infotype is a key field (direct access to field OBJPS).
