Definition

When this indicator is set, the old vested entitlement is not recalculated; instead, the saved results from the vesting calculation are used.

Description

You calculated a vested entitlement on an earlier date for an employee who left the company. You now want to calculate a pension benefit for this vested entitlement. In the normal case, you will want to perform the calculation steps again, since the calculation bases have changed.

If you have transferred a vested entitlement from an old pension plan to the CPS database however, and the valuation bases for this plan are not defined in the system, recalculation is not possible. When you set this indicator, recalculation of the vested entitlement is presented and the vested entitlement from the CBS database is used directly as a future right instead.

Bonuses and deductions can be calculated for the vested entitlement. It can also be integrated in the surviving dependents' calculation.

Further notes

To transfer an old vested entitlement, the following conditions must be met:

The benefit type that is triggered for the entitlement in the pension calculator must match the benefit type of the vested entitlement in the CPS database. In addition, the old vested entitlement is only transferred without calculation if the valuation period of the entitlement in infotype 202 matches the validity period of the vested entitlement in the CPS database.

If any of these conditions is not met, the vested entitlement is valuated.

If the CPS database contains two vested entitlements for the same period, the same entitlement, and the same benefit type, only the second (last) record is transferred. However, the vested entitlement is also increased by the amount of the first record.
