Definition
Together with the processing type, the processing subtype is the second control criteria for the pension calculation. The processing subtype is the exact specificaton of the processing type from a technical point of view and is derived by the pension calculation program.
The derivation or determination of the processing subtype can take place for each processing type using the employee's master data. In addition to the processing type, the following fields from the Actions infotype (0000) are available:
- Employment status
- Customer status
- Action
- Action reason
Example
Processing type: Individual pension
The processing subtype Retirement Pension is determined for the 'Retirement Pension' action, however, if the action reason for the retirement pension is 'Invalidity', the processing subtype Invalidity Pension is triggered.
Notes
The assignment to a processing subtype is controlled using feature DWCRA.
