Definition
Parameters for the company pension scheme (CPS), to which you can assign a default value.
Use
The preassigned parameters are only used in the CPS subcomponent. Parameters are provided for the following cases:
- Pay scale information, if the Basic Pay (0008) infotype is missing:
If you do not want to maintain the Basic Pay (0008) infotype each time for certain person groups in the CPS (for the testator's surviving dependents, for example), you can enter information here for: - Pay scale area (parameter TFGB)
- Pay scale type (parameter TFAR)
- Pay scale group (parameter TFGR)
- Pay scale level (parameter TFST)
In this case, payroll uses the values you define here - instead of terminating due to missing pay scale information from the Basic Pay (0008) infotype.
- Determining the testator for surviving dependents' pensions (parameter DE01):
The pension calculator determines the testator's surviving dependents based on the Family/Related Person infotype (0021). The testator's personnel number is defined for the surviving dependents here, in subtype Testator CPS (DE01).
If you want to use a different subtype, you have to define that subtype in parameter DE01 (subtype Testator CPS). - Determining the reference calculation variant (parameter RMBV):
In addition to the entitlement, you can also define an entitlement variant for an employee in the Entitlements infotype (0202). You can then define a variety of rules in Customizing for this entitlement variant that differ from those of the actual entitlement and only apply in combination with the variant. For example, you could use a different function module for pension calculation for the entitlement variant than for the original entitlement.
If an entitlement with an entitlement variant is specified in the Entitlements infotype (0202), but Customizing does not contain all the possible rules for this combination of entitlement and entitlement variant, the reference calculation variant (parameter RMBV) is used.
Therefore, if you use entitlement variants, but do not want to configure Customizing for all combinations of entitlement and entitlement variant, you have to specify a reference calculation variant instead. - Report to transfer basic data (parameter DBAS):
Contributions and income have to be transferred from payroll accounting for simulation purposes. To enable this, the simulation uses a SUBMIT to call the report to transfer income/CPS contributions (RPCWUBD0), which transfers contributions and income to the simulation without updating the CPS database. You can use parameter DBAS to specify a customer report to use in simulations, instead of PRCWUBD0. - Do not save future pension rights in P01CCV (parameter NOC):
You used report RPUAVED0 to transfer the pension rights data to the results table for pension rights (PDAVRT). If you set this parameter to X, the pension calculator does not write any more future rights data to P01CCV. - Actuarial: Alternative structure for log (parameter VMAL):
The actuarial log normally uses the fields in the notification tables (P01CVH, P01CVD, and P01CVR). If you want to use fewer fields or a different sequence, you can create your own table structures with the desired field names in the DDIC and then use Customizing (T50FA, T50FD, and T50FE) to define this alternative table structure as the alternative log display for specific periods. Prerequisite: You must name the 4-digit notification type in this CPS parameter. - Employee Self-Service:
You have to specify a printer in parameter PRNT to display the status of future pension rights. You use parameter BWST to select the statement. If you use ESS in Web Dynpro, you can configure parameter ARCH to only display the last archived statement and not create a new statement.
