Definition
Wage types are transferred with their amounts from the HR master data for specific periods. If a wage type is used for a period of time that does not cover a complete period, the system must know whether the amount is to be reduced proportionally for the period actually transferred, or whether the amount transferred is the exact amount for (which means no proportional amount has to be calculated).
Possible Values
No Reduction of Wage Type
The amount of the wage type is assigned in the full amount in each individual partial interval of the period. For example, if an employee changes to part-time employment in mid-month and it is delimited in the "Entitlements" infotype (0202), the period is split into partial periods. The amount is multiplied in this case if it is not reduced.
Reduction of Wage Type Based on Full Month
The amount of the wage type is reduced by the ratio of partial interval to full month. For example, if the partial interval is 15 days in a month with 30 calendar days, the amount for this period is halved.
Reduction of Wage Type Based on Relevant Days
The amount of the wage type is reduced by the ratio of partial interval to relevant days (in the full month). If an employee leaves in mid-month, for example, only 20 days of the full month might apply. Therefore, if the partial interval is also 20 days, the amount of this wage type is not reduced. This is relevant, for example, if the full monthly amount has to be used in case of entry/leaving as the result of a works agreement.
