Definition
The cumulation method depends on the conversion method that is assigned to the employee in infotype 0263 (Deferred Compensation). It defines how conversions that have already been performed are taken into account during conversion. One rule, for example, states that only conversions for the same entitlement are taken into account. In this case, the payroll function examines wage type /601 from the current period and the previous period for only this entitlement. The cumulated conversion calculated in this manner is then taken into account when determining the potential for conversion.
In contrast, the rules for forming cumulation /601 are saved with the entitlement in table T5DWH. They are not affected by the cumulation method.
