Use

The HI Key is a partial map of the official contribution group key and is only used internally.

0: No insurance liability

When employees are coded with indicator 0, no HI contributions are calculated in payroll accounting.

1: General contribution

Set the indicator to 1 for employees who had compulsory health insurance in a statutory fund at the time the value credit was accrued.

2: Increased contribution

Set the indicator to 2 for employees who have compulsory health insurance in a statutory fund and who are not entitled to continued pay.
The health insurance funds collect an increased contribution for these employees.

3: Reduced contribution

Set the indicator to 3 for employees who have compulsory health insurance in a statutory fund and who are not entitled to sick pay.
The health insurance funds collect a reduced contribution for these employees.

7: Agricultural HI

Set the indicator to 7 for employees who are mainly farmers and are already insured with an agricultural health insurance fund.
The system only calculates the employers' contribution to health insurance for these employees.

8: Flat rate contribution

Use indicator 8 for low-income employees.
