Definition

This indicator allows you to handle preferred garnishments like ordinary garnishments when determining the garnishment base amount.

Example

The indicator must be set for preferred garnishments which have resulted from intentional, unlawful actions.

The following checks are carried out:

1. Permissible values are as follows:

' ' - The wage types are handled according the to the procedure
for preferred garnishments stipulated in §§ 850a ZPO.

'X' - Exception: The wage types are handled like ordinary
garnishments in accordance with § 850a ZPO.

2. If you enter the indicator, you must either also maintain the
non-garnishable amount field.

Use

This indicator is used in payroll to determine the garnishable amount.
