Definition
The UI Key field controls the calculation, assignment, and deduction of contributions for a disruptive event to unemployment insurance.
Use
The Unemployment Insurance Indicator is a map of the official contribution group key and is only used internally.
0: No insurance liability
When employees are coded with indicator 0, no UI contributions are calculated in payroll accounting.
1: Full contribution
When employees are coded with indicator 1, the employer's and employee's contributions to unemployment insurance are calculated payroll accounting.
Set the indicator to 1 for employees who are fully liable for unemployment insurance.
2: Half contribution
When employees are coded with indicator 2, the only the employer's contribution to unemployment insurance is calculated payroll accounting.
9: Half contribution for employee
When employees are coded with indicator 9, the only the employee's contribution to unemployment insurance is calculated payroll accounting.
