Definition

In this field, you can store a special processing in the ELStAM procedure.

Use

Once the ELStAM (electronic employment tax deduction features) procedure starts, the employer is no longer informed through the tax card of the employment tax deduction features for employees liable for tax without restrictions, but via the ELStAM procedure instead.

In exceptions, special processing has to be made for the employees that you store in this field. You can define the reason for special processing in the field Reason.

Special processing:

  • Does Not Participate

    The personnel number does not participate in the procedure even though it is liable for tax without restriction.

    • Reason: Additional Personnel Number for ID Number
      • The personnel number must not be registered or deregistered with the clearing office since the work relationship is communicated using a different personnel number for the employee.
  • Registration with Deregistration of Previous Record
    • Reason: Change Request for Exemption
      • A personal exemption is to be requested for a secondary employment relationship.

Note that you need to influence notifications using the Special Processing Registration or Special Processing Deregistration fields if you change the Special Processing field without any related action.
