Definition

Determines a part-time reduction of the child increase amount for civil servants.

Use

The system evaluates this field only when calculating the special payment for civil servants (payroll type 4). If you select the indicator, the system reduces the child increase amount based on the capacity utilization level in the Basic Pay infotype (0008).

Using this indicator, you can specify whether the special amount according to section 8 paragraph 1 SZG (Special Payment Act) is to be paid according to section 6 of the BBesG (Public Sector Remuneration Act) in the ratio of reduced working time to full working time. This is the case if one of the entitled persons is employed at least half the normal working time and the other less than half the normal working time.

Dependencies

The part-time reduction is also carried out in accordance with the reduction method defined for the relevant wage type. You define this reduction method in Customizing as a wage type characteristic.

Further notes

The collective agreements for salaried employees, hourly-paid employees, and trainees specify that a part-time reduction of the child increase amount must always take place.
