Definition

This field displays the status of the notification.

Use

The notification status indicates the extent to which that notification has already been processed in the pension receipt notification procedure, as well as which other actions are possible or required.

Dependencies

The possible statuses for a notification depend on which procedure (inbound or outbound) is involved and on the type of notification(notification reason).

Outbound Status Indicators:

Status Indicators after Confirmation:

  • Confirmed (005)

    This is an MI01 notification (query identification number) that was transferred to ZfA and was confirmed there, but whose processing will take some time. Confirmed status is set in the Inbox: Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPCRBMD0_INBOUND) when an IM01 notification is read with return code 4 (query received, processing ongoing) and assigned to the MI01 outbound notification.

  • Rejected (006)

    This is an outbound notification that was transferred to ZfA but rejected there due to incorrect format or content. Rejected status is set in the Inbox: Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPCRBMD0_INBOUND) when a corresponding error information is read and assigned to the outbound notification. The administrator has to use the Manage Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPURBMD0) to check the notification and set a subsequent status.

Status Indicators for Notification Processing

  • Completed (007)

    This is an outbound notification whose notification reason has been completed and therefore does not have to be reported again. Completed status is set in the following reports:

    • Update Identification Number IT0012 (RPCRBMD0_IM01)
      • This report processes MI01 notifications that provide an identification number. This identification number is recorded in the master data (infotype 0012). If the update is successful, the MI01 notification is set to Completed status.
    • Manage Pension Receipt Notifications (RPURBMD0)
      • You can use this report to set the status of an outbound notification from Rejected to Completed Use this option if the system error that caused the outbound notification to be rejected cannot be corrected and you no longer want the reason for notification to be reported automatically.
  • With Errors (099)

    This is an outbound notification that contains errors and therefore has to be reported again. With Errors status is set in the following reports:

  • Processed (014)

    This status indicates that the inbound notification was processed completely and is therefore complete. No further status changes are possible. This status is set by the following reports:

    • In case of error confirmations:
      • The error confirmation was assigned to an outbound notification in the Inbox: Pension Receipt Notifications report and the error was recorded there. Processing of the error confirmation ends here. The outbound notification is set to status Rejected; the administrator has to use the Manage Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPURBMD0) to check it.
    • For IM01 notifications with return code 1, 2, or 3 (query contains errors):
      • These notifications are actually error notifications and are handed as such.
    • For IM01 notifications with return code 4 (confirmation of query):
      • The notification was assigned to an MI01 query in the Inbox: Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPCRBMD0_INBOUND) and the confirmation was recorded there. Processing of the IM01 notification ends here. The MI01 query is set to status Confirmed and waits for the IM01 reply with the identification number.
    • For IM01 notifications with identification number:
      • The provided identification number was transferred to the master data (infotype 0012) using the report to Update Identification Number IT0012 (RPCRBMD0_IM01).
  • To Be Checked (012)

    This status is set for an IM01 notification in the Update Identification Number IT0012 (RPCRBMD0_IM01) report if the provided identification number could not be transferred to the master data (infotype 012). The administrator has to use the Manage Pension Receipt Notifications report (RPURBMD0) to check the notification.

  • Process Again (031)

    This status can be set for IM01 notifications that need to be checked, in report Manage Pension Receipt Notifications (RPURBMD0), if the error in the master data was corrected and you want to process the notification again with the

    Update Identification Number IT0012 report (RPCRBMD0_IM01).
