Definition

Unique identification number of a ZfA record (file) in the SAP system.

Use

The file ID is used as a key for saving and management purposes in the SAP system:

  • The file ID is saved in status management for the notifications, enabling you to see which inbound or outbound file contained the notification.
  • If you used B2A for the data exchange, the file content and transfer status is saved under this key in B2A.
  • For outbound notifications of the type MI01, the file ID is also transferred in the "Transfer ID" field of the XML file.
  • For inbound notifications of the type IM01, the transaction ID assigned by the ZfA and other header information is stored under the internal file identifier.
