Documentation
Definition
The CI Key field controls the calculation, assignment, and deduction of contributions for a disruptive event to care insurance.
Use
The Care Insurance Indicator is a supplement to the official contribution group key and is only used internally.
0: No insurance liability
When employees are coded with indicator 0, no CI contributions are calculated in payroll accounting.
1: Full contribution
Set the indicator to 1 for employees who had compulsory health insurance in a statutory fund at the time the value credit was accrued.
2: Half contribution
You set indicator 2 for employees who are widows/widowers of civil servants. In this case, only half the contribution is calculated, which is in turn paid half each by the employer and the employee.
8: Half contribution for employee
When employees are coded with indicator 8, half of the compulsory contribution is calculated in payroll accounting. This contribution is paid fully be the employee.
Use indicator 8 for employees who are entitled to benefits.
