Documentation
Definition
Benefits always exist. The amount of the benefits must be specified.
Use
If this indicator is set, a warning is triggered in payroll if an absence type exists with the corresponding benefit type but no corresponding wage type is entered for the amount of the benefit per calendar day.
Dependencies
The type of benefit is assigned to an absence type via the indicator Type of benefit. The indicator initially means only that a benefit could exist for this absence type. Whether the benefit always exists in reality depends on the type of benefit.
Example
For an absence type for sickness that is marked with benefit type #Sick pay#, the amount of the sick pay must always be specified.
For an absence type for parental leave that is marked with benefit type #Child benefit#, the specification of the amount of the child benefit per calendar day may not be mandatory, since the child benefit is not actually paid in all cases.
