Definition

Wage type to control the calculation of SI contributions under sec. 23c SGB IV.

Calculated value from a notional run.

Use

The wage type contains the regular SI-liable payments that the employer continues to pay when social benefit payments are made.
It represents a notional full-month value that must be evaluated even if the absence only involves a partial period.

Employer supplements to social benefit cannot be contained in this wage type.

Dependencies

The wage type is used to determine whether contribution-liable income exists as defined by sec. 23c SGB IV.

It is only used for the decision, however, if no specification value for the full-month employer benefit was entered in the master data.
