Definition
Special rules for a challenged adult child or the payment of partial child allowance.
Use
The system evaluates this field only if you have selected Child in the Entitlement field. The special rules have the following meaning:
- Challenged Adult Child
In accordance with the law governing family assistance, child allowance of 30 DM must be paid to physically or mentally-challenged children for whom the minimum subsistence level is covered by a integration allowance (for example, for patients who receive full in-patient care). If the child allowance is to be paid according to this rule, select Challenged Adult Child.
- Partial Child Allowance
If a child receives a payment comparable to child allowance that is lower than the child allowance rate to be paid, the difference amount is paid to this child as child allowance, taking into account the base amount.
If only part of the child allowance is to be paid to the employee, select Partial Child Allowance. The system then displays the Amount field and deducts the amount that you specify here from the child allowance.
