Definition
Indicates employees who already had private health insurance prior to January 1, 2003.
A lower annual income threshold must be used to check the annual remuneration for these employees - namely, the HI income threshold.
Use
This indicator is evaluated in report RPLSVED2 for privately insured employees to determine which annual income limit is to be used in the shortfall check.
Dependencies
The Privately Insured before 2003 indicator is always evaluated for the newest infotype 0908 record only.
Infotype 0908 records whose key date lies after the evaluation month of report RPLSVED0 are ignored.
Example
An infotype 0908 record is created for key date March 1, 2007 and the Privately Insured before 2003 indicator is set. The employee rejoins the company in July 2007. As a result, a second infotype 0908 record is created with key date July 1, 2007. You do not set the Privately Insured before 2003 indicator in this case.
When you start report RPLSVED2 for evaluation months 03/2007 to 06/20007, the indicator from the first infotype record is used. The annual income threshold in the amount of the HI insurance threshold is used for the shortfall check.
If you start report RPLSVED2 for an evaluation month from 07/2007, then the indicator from the second infotype record is used. Since the indicator is not set, a higher annual income threshold is used for the shortfall check.
