Definition
The total claim for all period contains the total of the main claim and regular claim and the costs and interest that are due on the garnishment up to the selected payroll period. Employer costs are not taken into account in the total claim.
If the garnishment includes a regular claim and if it has already been honored, the total claim includes the total of the amounts due up to the last completed payroll period.
If the garnishment has not been honored by the selected payroll period, the total claim includes the total costs, both interest-bearing and interest-free, for the main claim. Neither a regular claim nor due interest is taken into account in this case.
