Definition

According to § 23, par. 1, clause 2 of SGB (Code of Social Law) IV, the total social insurance contributions are due on the 15th of the month following the month in which the employment was performed with which the remuneration was earned.

Differing from this, the total social insurance contributions according to § 23, par. 1, clause 3 of SGB IV are due no later than the 25th of the month in which the employment with which the remuneration is earned is presumed to have been performed and for which the remuneration is due on the 15th of this month.
