Definition

The pension insurance institutions must issue a social insurance card for each employee.

In this field, enter information regarding the submission, or the location of the SI card.

  • No requirement to submit

    This employee does not have to submit his/her SI card.

  • Non-submission

    According to §102 Par.1 SGB IV, if the employee does not submit the SI card upon starting at the company, you must generate a control message.

  • Submission of the SI card at the start of the employment period

    According to §102 Par.2 SGB IV, the employee must submit the SI card upon joining the company.

  • On file in the company
    • According to §102 Par.3 SGB IV, the employee can keep the SI card on file at the company.
    • According to §102 Par.2 SGB IV, the employer can demand that the SI card is on file during continued pay.
  • On file with the benefits provider

    According to §102 Par.1 SGB IV, the benefits provider (for example, Federal Employment Office, HI fund), can demand that the SI card remains on file with them.
