Definition
Differing percentage applied to the income threshold for limiting the PI increase
Use
The additional pension insurance contributions during semiretirement are restricted to the legal limit when increasing so that the sum of the regular remuneration and the PI increase does not exceed 90% of the income threshold.
For semiretirement that begins before July 1st, 2004, the sum of the part-time work remuneration and PI increase is limited to 90% of the income threshold.
An entry in this field is only necessary if the value should not be used that is determined by the system for limiting the PI increase to the income threshold.
The percentage must be at least 90 and can be a maximum of 100.
Dependencies
If no entry is made in this field, the system determines the percentage for limiting the PI increase according to the following rules:
Semiretirement beginning before July 1st, 2004:
The percentage applied to the income threshold for limiting the PI increase corresponds to the percentage entered in the field #PI increase#.
Semiretirement beginning after June 30th, 2004:
The percentage applied to the income threshold for limiting the PI increase (percentage(income threshold)) is determined by the system from the percentage for the calculation of the PI increase from regular remuneration (percentage(regular remuneration) according to the following rule:
Percentage(income threshold) = ( percentage(regular remuneration) + 100 ) / 2.
