Definition

If semiretirement begins after June 30, 2004, you can only use semiretirement models with this indicator.

Use

The "Third Act for Modern Services at the Workplace" implemented many changes in German semiretirement law.

Among other things, these changes affect the rules for calculating increased payments by the employer.

The new rules only apply to semiretirement cases that begin after June 30, 2004.

When you set this indicator in the semiretirement model, the new rules are used in payroll accounting. This means, for example:

  1. Calculation of the increase based on regular remuneration
  2. Calculation of additional pension insurance contributions (additional contribution-liable income) based on regular remuneration
  3. The special consideration of overtime in SI calculation when determining additional contribution-liable income
