Definition
If this checkbox is selected, it denotes a reduced hours substitution.
Use
A substitution which is flagged in this way is not taken into account when an employee's personal work schedule is set up, in contrast to other substitutions. This means, among other things, that this substitution is not taken into account for the counting of absences, for example.
However, if reduced hours are specified for the employee in the Reduced Working Hours/Seasonal RWH infotype (0049), only reduced hours sustitutions are evaluated. Other substitutions are not taken into account.
Examples
- Reduced working hours substitution
The reduced hours substitution constitutes four planned working hours as opposed to eight planned hours in the employee's daily work schedule. Eight hours are counted for an absence on this day if there is no reduced hours record for the employee in infotype 0049.
- No reduced hours substitution
The substitution comprises four hours as opposed to the eight in the employee's daily work schedule. Four hours are counted for an absence on this day.
