Definition
Parameter for the HICS
The physical sender is the company which sends the EDI files to the recipient fund. It might be different to the logical sender (= creator of the EDI files), for example, if it concerns a computer center that collects the EDI files for several logical senders and transfers them to the recipient funds.
The company number of the physical sender is needed for the order file for the HICS procedure. If the company number of the physical sender is not maintained in table T5D15, then the logical sender is also recorded as the physical sender in the order file when the EDI files are created.
