Definition
Defines exceptions for the calculation of the married bonus payment in the family-related bonus or cost-of-living allowance for public sector employees (civil servants) and salaried employees in the Public Sector.
Use
The system calculates the married bonus payment in the family-related bonus for public sector employees and salaried employees, provided that a spouse or registered partner has been entered in the Family/Related Person infotype (0021). You can use this field to define exceptions to the automatic processing by the system. This is important in the following cases:
- A spouse or registered partner has been entered in the Family/Related Person infotype (0021). However, no spousal element/spousal element (partner) is to be paid or a reduced amount is to be paid.
Example: An employee's spouse is also employed full-time in the Public Sector. For this reason, the employee is to receive only half of the married bonus payment.
- The married bonus payment is to be granted even though no spouse or registered partner has been entered in the Family/Related Person infotype (0021).
Example: An employee is divorced and is required to pay maintenance. For this reason, he or she receives the full married bonus payment.
By selecting the competition rule, you can also determine which parts of the family-related bonuses are to be reduced for part-time employment.
Further notes
Under Extras -> Competition, you can define the percentage share of the full family-related bonus or cost-of-living allowance. Only use this option in the following exceptional cases:
- You want to comply with a competition rule in the AVR Caritas pay scale.
- An employee has children with different fathers who are employed in the Public Sector.
The numerator and denominator fields for spouse/registered partner and child should not be changed in any other cases.
