Definition
Information regarding the employee's family allowance or cost-of-living allowance level.
Use
The system determines the following cost-of-living and family allowance levels from the existing subtypes of the Family-Related Bonuses infotype (0595) during the valuation period:
- Level 01 for salaried employees or ' ' (blank) for public sector employees.
The employee is single and does not receive a spousal element.
- Level 02 for salaried employees and 01 for public sector employees
The salaried employee or public sector employee is entitled to the spousal component/spousal component (partner), but not to number of children benefit or dependent children benefit.
- Level 03 and higher for salaried employees and level 02 for public sector employees.
The employee is entitled to the spousal component/spousal component (partner) and number of children or dependent child benefit. The difference to the previous level is the number of children plus the number of dependent children.
Further notes
Salaried employees and public sector employees who have no entitlement to the spousal component but are entitled to either form of child benefit, are assigned to level 01 for salaried employees and ' ' (blank) for public sector employees.
Example
A female employee is employed according to the Collective Agreement for the German Civil Service. She is married and has two children. One child is entitled to benefits. For this employee, the cost-of-living level 04 is displayed.
Dependencies
To be entitled to the spousal element or the spousal element (partner), a data record must exist in the subtype Spousal element or Spousal element (Partner) or Spousal element (single) in the Family-Related Bonuses infotype. Enter the child(ren) data in the Child element and bonuses subtype.
