In the collective agreements for the Public Sector, distinctions are sometimes made in the pay scale class. Although all employees in the cost-of-living allowance class receive the same single and married person component, the child component may vary within the pay scale class according to the pay scale group. To ensure that it is possible to correctly represent the pay scale class in the basic pay, and at the same time, perform the correct calculation, the internal pay scale class is created. For example, an internal pay scale class can be assigned to the pay scale class IC for pay scale groups KR1, KR2, KR3, and so on. This enables you to code the individual elements in the cost-of-living allowance correctly in table T510Q. If you use an internal pay scale type in T5D51, this should also be used in T510Q. The internal pay scale type is a freely-defined key. To ensure correct valuation of the cost-of-living allowance, this key from T5D5L must correspond to the same key in T510Q.
