Definition
Use
Each object type is assigned a proxy class in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management that depicts the behavior and the functional scope of the object type in SAP Portfolio and Project Management. In the same way, you define a corresponding proxy class here that exists in the ERP system, and which stipulates the behavior and the functional scope of the object type in SAP ERP.
Dependencies
For technical reasons, you cannot carry out an existence check when you edit the SAP ERP proxy class. Therefore, you should make sure that the proxy class you define here really exists in SAP ERP. The objects can only be assigned as object links if the proxy classes work together in both SAP Portfolio and Project Management and SAP ERP.
