Definition
This indicator determines whether the tax reimbursement amount needs to be recalculated, depending on the existence of contract Tax and Royalty Reimbursements. (Reimbursements are set up in the Tax and Royalty Reimbursement transaction.)
When this indicator is selected, the batch tax calculation program calculates the reimbursement (usually for gas and NGL's only) with the following equation:
Reimbursement = state tax amount * state tax percent * .01
The state tax percent is set up in the Tax and Royalty Reimbursementtransaction (Logistics -> Production and Revenue Accounting -> Contracts & Pricing -> Contracts -> Other Terms -> Tax and Royalty Reimbursements).
If reimbursements are not set up in the Tax and Royalty Reimbursement transaction, then this indicator is disregarded.
