Definition
This indicator is used primarily for New Mexico and Oklahoma. When selected, the indicator directs the batch tax calculation program to retrieve all of the tax types and tax rates for the entire state. The program then determines whether reimbursements are established for the tax type. (Reimbursements are set up in the Tax and Royalty Reimbursement transaction.)
If reimbursements have been set up, the tax program multiplies the reimbursement amount by the rate for that tax type. Reimbursements are accumulated for all tax types.
When the tax amount is actually calculated, the taxable value is divided by this reimbursement rate to give a new taxable value, which is used in the state tax calculation.
