Definition
For oil and gas fields (leases) in Arkansas, the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission (AOGC) proscribes a maximum monthly volume allowance - the monthly amount that a specific well in the field can produce (the maximum is to prevent environmental damage).
The monthly allowance is divided by the number of days in the specific month to derive a daily allowance, per well, which is set up at master data level for that well (as part of the Reg.ID master record).
The monthly allowance = number of days in the month x daily allowance.
You obtain the monthly allowance from the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission (AOGC), and you enter it, as well as the daily allowance, when setting up master data for reporting for the well.
