Definition
The output facility is the measurement point that is above the MP in question, in the MMS reporting hierarchy.
For example, you could have a structure with three measurement points. The top MP would be - from the MMS's point of view - considered the sales MP; the next MP or node in the hierarchy would be considered the output MP or output facility.
If the following is a hierarchy of measurement points, from the MMS's point of view:
MP (higest node = sales point)
MP (next-highest node = output facility)
MP (next-highest node)
So if you are reporting at the lowest MP, from that MP, the next-highest node (MP) is the output facility.
