Definition
This factor is used when a contract within a lease is divided among different sales types. For example, suppose 60% of the lease volumes are tied to contract 1, which in an arms-length sale, and 40% is non-arms length tied to the same contract. In this case, you would need to set up 2 sales types records for contract 1 - the first having an allocation factor of .6, and the second with an allocation factor of .4.
The allocation factor must always total to 1.0 (100 %). If it does not, the record will reject during the extraction process.
