Definition

The entity type.

If you select this attribute, it means that you are designating this attribute as required for use on the Accounting Entry Control screen (link: Account Entry Control )to help assign unique account numbers to an account category.

Example:

If separate tax payable account numbers (the account number) exist for a single product code (the accounting category), you would select PRODUCT on this screen - indicating that it is a required field - for the taxes payable accounting category. In other words, you would select it to tell the system - this attribute is going to be required for account number assignment to an accounting category on the Account Entry Control screen.
