Definition
The batch ID identifies the batch, which is a collection of a unique group of individual journal entries, and the batch ID identifies the specific batch.
In Journal Entry: The batch ID is required and must already exist on the batch control screen. To make any changes, the batch status for the current batch must be 'work unapproved' or 'balanced'. You can make updates to a particular line if its line status is 'rejected'.
