Definition
Set this flag if you would like this attribute (affiliated company) to be used on the Account Entry Control screen to help assign unique account numbers to an accounting category. By setting this flag, you are indicating to the system that you would like to use the affiliated company attribute as a required attribute in the assignment of accounts to account categories.
Example:
If separate tax payable account numbers (the account number) exist for a single product code (the accounting category), you would select PRODUCT on this screen - indicating that it is a required field - for the taxes payable accounting category. In other words, you would select it to tell the system - this attribute is going to be required for account number assignment to an accounting category on the Account Entry Control screen.
